Many areas don't get sufficient attention from venture-backed companies but are fundamental to technological progress and functioning democratic societies. Here are a few I'd love to see created.
- Political decision making assistance for democratic societies.
- Political disengagement is increasing throughout liberal democracies (Australia, United States, and the United Kingdom)
- The media machine makes understanding politics impossible for the average person.
- Politics needs to be reformed to first help people understand their own views. For example, across:

- Social / Cultural
- Governance
- Global Affairs
- Then, once people are clear on their own stances, the system should make it simple to see how that maps to current policy recommendations. For example, the system would automatically output how it maps to a given party’s policies during a given election. - This is about retaining democracy, enhancing the social fabric, and holding the governing class to account; putting more power in the people of democratic institutions.
- Website with global problems, organised by sectors, number of venture-backed companies, and research papers published in the area. With the aim of providing a simple way to gauge neglectedness on the Effective Altruism ITN framework.
- Elevating science behind the beaureaucratic prison. Publish a global leaderboard of global scientists, including number of publications, citations, industry awards, commercial products, and replications.
- A reputable/positive version of Andrew Tate. Communities with non-toxic, strong positive role models for young males.
- How could you bring the greatest books ever written into the world with a higher fidelity version using AI that makes learning the lessons of the past easier?
- A website which tracks investments of major active funds, and quickly shows their past returns, entry prices, etc.
- The bottleneck to technological progress is no longer financial capital, it’s human capital. Sharing playbooks from successful venture studios seems like an efficient way to get more people working on valuable companies, rather than incremental. E.g., What is the process through which the best venture studios (Atomic, 500 starutps, Rocket Internet, AlleyCorp) generate their theses? How can t
